The Homecoming football game is scheduled for Friday, September 15th vs. IVC High School. The game starts at 7:00 PM.

Reminder-everyone needs to stay off of the SJO track and Dick Duval Field from Tuesday, August 29th-Thursday, September 7th as the track surface is being installed. We cannot have anyone on the football field and track during this time. Thanks for your help with this!

The 3rd all athletic turn in date is tomorrow (Friday, September 1st) before school in the commons. Remember, all student athletes need to turn in their packets when all of their fundraiser tickets are sold. The last turn in date is Friday, September 8th. This is the only fundraiser we will have this school year for all sports. Thanks for your help and support!

The 2023 yearbooks have arrived. Yearbooks can be picked up in Mrs. Harbaugh's room, 122, before or after school. There are extra yearbooks available for purchase for $75.

The Monticello/St. Joseph-Ogden varsity football game scheduled on Friday, 8/25 will now start at 8:00 PM instead of 7:00 PM. This game will be played on Dick Duval Field, which is now a brand new turf football/soccer field. Again, the start time is 8:00 PM on Friday, 8/25 @ St. Joseph-Ogden High School. Here are the adjustments we have made for soccer on 8/21, 8/24, and 8/28: - The originally scheduled VAR/JV soccer game at Oakwood on Monday, 8/21/23 has been rescheduled on Sat, 9/23/23 at Oakwood. The Varsity game will start at 10:00 AM, and the JV game will follow the varsity game. - The originally scheduled VAR/JV soccer game vs. Uni High School on Thursday, 8/24/23 here at SJO has been rescheduled for Saturday, 9/9/23 at 7:00 PM under the lights. The varsity game will start at 7:00 PM. The JV game will be played after the varsity game is over. - On Monday, 8/28, this will be a varsity game only at Danville Schlarman.

The All Athletic Fundraiser Parent Meeting is on Monday, August 7th at 6:30 PM in the MAIN GYM. On Monday, August 7th, all athletes from all sports will receive their fundraiser packets. Please put this date on your calendars. Thanks everyone!

St. Joseph-Ogden High School will honor and induct the following five wonderful people into the 2023 SJO Hall of Fame class on Fri, September 15th: - Randy Wolken - Gerald Hewerdine - Susan Pensinger - Brian Allen - Marvin Lee Flessner The induction ceremony will happen at halftime of the varsity football game vs. IVC on September 15 (also our HOMECOMING GAME). The game starts at 7:00 PM, so halftime will likely happen at around 7:45 PM. We will have a meet and greet with refreshments under a tent during the first half of the football game so people can chat with the Hall of Fame inductees. All five inductees will walk with their families up the track to the 50-yard line during the halftime induction ceremony. At that time, we will give each inductee their Hall of Fame plaque and will take pictures of everyone as well. We are extremely honored to induct these 5 fantastic people into our St. Joseph-Ogden High School Hall of Fame. Congrats again to all of the inductees!
